3 Reasons The ASUS GX800 Is Everything A Gamer Could Want

ASUS has just unveiled the next iteration of their GX series gaming laptops, and it is everything a gamer could ask for. Here are the top three reasons why the GX800 is the laptop of choice in the gaming world.

1. Graphics

The GX800 is sporting not one, but two NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GPUs with two-way SLI for 4K gaming. Users can expect incredible performance from these video cards and, as with last year’s GX700, the liquid cooling attachment to the laptop will enable overclocking for an extra boost.

2. Processing

Sporting Intel’s K-Series CPU, the GX800 has one-click overclocking to maximize the performance of your processor. To support this, there are also two 330W power supplies to ensure all that liquid-cooled power will be properly juiced. All of this packed into one of the thinnest laptops on the market makes it an excellent mobile powerhouse.

3. Durability

The layered aluminum casing and internal architecture help ensure the safety of the GX800’s internal components, but perhaps the most durable feature of all is the multicolor LED mechanical keyboard that can be customized to suit anyone’s style. Lasting longer than standard membrane keys, and with tactile inputs to make sure every click registers as intended, the quality of parts in the GX800 is impressive.

Altogether, the newest ASUS PC is a force to be reckoned with. Additional features include modifications to the liquid cooling unit and ESS audio, but without pricing or a release date officially announced yet, it looks like the GX800 will be touring trade shows globally until the end of 2016.
